If you've been injured through the actions of someone else, you surely have a lot of questions. With 35 years of law experience, I can tell you that one of the most commonly asked questions once a client begins to pursue an insurance claim due to an accident is, “How long does this process take?”
There’s no simple answer to how long after an accident your insurance claims will take to settle - or go to trial if needed. Your medical treatments are a big determining factor, and a good personal injury attorney will want you to be as fully healed as possible before a claim is settled. The majority of injury cases settle about 4-9 months after the date of the injured client’s last medical treatment. I explain more in the video, and as always, I’m happy to answer any questions you may have about your accident.
